Lux Row Distillery Tour
We recently took the Lux Row Distillery Tour in Bardstown, KY. It is a large distillery located in the heart of Bourbon Country.
Lux Row Distillery Tour:
The Lux Row Distillers Production Tour is a chance to see the bourbon making process from start to finish. You will explore fermentation, distillation, barrel filling, and their famous (and highly photographed) barrel warehouse.
Following the tour, enjoy an educational, guided tasting experience featuring four of their award-winning bourbons.
This tour is for those looking to learn about Lux Row Distillers who have not visited before. We really enjoyed it! Not only did we get the opportunity to enjoy a bourbon thieved straight from the barrel in the rick house we also got to enjoy a nice samples paired with chocolate which is a huge win/win for me!
Guests of all ages are welcome on the standard Production Tours. Minors aged 3 to 20 are $10 per ticket. Toddlers 2 and under are free. They check valid ID’s of ALL those intending to taste at check-in so be sure to bring your ID. I honestly really don’t see many children on the Bourbon Trail though.
The Lux Row Distillers Production tour is approximately 30 minutes of walking and stopping. Since this is a full production tour, there will be parts of the tour that may be hotter or colder depending on the time of year. Please dress accordingly, and closed toe shoes are encouraged.
We give this tour a 10/10. We really enjoyed experiencing the full product tour, thieving fro the barrel and then the tasting after!
