WDW Animal Kingdom Kilimanjaro Safari

WDW Animal Kingdom Kilimanjaro Safari is a great ride to use with a Fast Pass, so if you get the chance to snag a FP, it is so worth it!  Or you can be like my family and we got a Fast Pass for it for the afternoon, but it was the first ride of the day that we rode. We made an early breakfast reservation at Animal Kingdom Tusker House. After we finished eating, the park was still 5 minutes away from opening so we went and got in line for the safari.  We were one of the first ones to ride.

It was so neat to ride the safari first thing in the morning because the animals were very active.  We saw animals that were so close to the safari truck and I was a little nervous at first. We all enjoyed this ride but my youngest son, who was six years old at the time, LOVED it! He loves animals and this was by far his favorite thing to do at Animal Kingdom.

We also enjoyed riding it again in the afternoon because we saw different animals, but most were laying around.  It was nice to get to sit down and enjoy riding out of the sun and heat.  I will warn people that it is a very bumpy ride.  Not so bumpy that I would not ride again, but if you have small children I would be sure to put them in the middle.  So if you are headed to Disney World and Animal Kingdom be sure to NOT pass up on riding the WDW Animal Kingdom Kilimanjaro Safari, you will not be disappointed at all!
