This Disney Dining option is located in Hollywood Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Step into the Golden Age of Hollywood at this warm, wood-paneled restaurant serving contemporary American cuisine. It is like taking a step back in time.
It is the perfect place to relax and cool down on a busy Disney Hollywood Studios Day. Dine in an authentic replica of the famous Brown Derby, a Tinseltown landmark steeped in glamour and glitz. The walls are adorned with caricatures of famous faces—a tradition that began with the original restaurant—and the upscale atmosphere harkens back to the Golden Age of Hollywood.
Trust me when I say it is iconic. They did a great job with this dining option. You will experience the delectable legacy of the original Brown Derby, with timeless dishes and classic cocktails. You can choose from their specialties including the Faroe Island salmon, char-grilled filet of beef and their famous Cobb salad that follows the recipe created by Bob Cobb, owner of the historic California Brown Derby.
We opted with the Cobb salad, and we all said it was the best Cobb salad that we have ever eaten! We also ordered the spoon bread with lavender butter, and it was delicious. For the perfect finale to any meal, they have a wide variety of cakes. Greenlight the Grapefruit Cake—a Brown Derby original—basking in its glamorous, citrusy sponginess. Or stake your career on a chocolate mousse cake, so decadent with dark chocolate and candied cherries. We didn’t save room but that only means one thing, we will have to return!
Guests 21 years of age and up can enjoy classic cocktails poured tableside, in addition to Old and New World wines from Italy, France, California, Australia and beyond. You can ample three varieties from around the world with different wine flights at the The Hollywood Brown Derby.
