Daytona Shores Beach Florida
My family and I just got back from a wonderful vacation to Daytona Shores Beach in Florida. We love to travel to different beaches for a week of relaxation from our busy schedules. We stayed in a hotel for this portion of our stay which was the Hyatt located at 3161 South Atlantic Avenue Daytona Beach Shores, FL 3118. It was located right on the beach offering an amazing view from our balcony, the breakfast dining area and pool area.
The Daytona Shores Beach was very different from the public Daytona Beach located a few miles up the road. But in a good way for our family, it was very quiet and not crowded at all. Even though you could drive on the beach where we were located. The boys thought that was awesome because every afternoon an ice cream truck came by. The water was so crystal blue that you could see your feet. I had always thought that you could only get this kind of water on the gulf side. The boys were in heaven because there was a lot of waves so they could enjoy their wave boards and skim boards.
There was a lot of dining to experience at Daytona Shores Beach, so it was hard to choose from. Two of our favorites was Crabby Joe’s which is on a pier out over the ocean and Senor Taco.
At Crabby Joe’s you can even see through the floorboards! The service is very laid back and you have a wonderful view no matter where you are sitting. The food is divine, everyone in the family loved what they got!
Senor Taco is located on the main strip and is kind of a hidden local place. But their food is simply delicious! We ate there on our last day and we could not stop talking about how good it was. Be sure to try it if you care in the area.
We loved Daytona Shores Beach Florida and we will go back! The family has already said they want to go again next year. I highly recommend it for any toe if trip – girls weekend, romantic getaway or family trip.

Our first trip to Daytona Beach Shores was last January. We spent the month at the Sunglow Resort right beside the Pier. We loved it there! So much so, we are staying there in January and February (2020). We normally stay in Destin for a month, but, decided after our snowbirding trip last year DBS is where we would rather be.
