Drury Inn Hotel Review – Columbus, OH – A Great Family Hotel
We made a trip to Columbus, OH this summer to visit COSI and to watch a Columbus Crew Game. I researched for hotels in the Columbus area and decided on the Drury Inn Hotel. I really like to stay at Drury Hotels for many reasons. I find them to be clean (generally), well priced and a value for the price. They offer a hot manager’s special complete with drinks and food each evening and a hot breakfast each morning. In addition they offer fresh popcorn and a drink machine all day long in the lobby.
We checked in to our room which was very spacious. For only $109 a night we got a two room suite with a lot of room. The living room had a TV, sofa and two chairs plus a desk and plenty of room for the kids to spread out. There was a clean and very large bathroom with a separate shower area from the sink (I liked that for getting ready in the morning) and then the separate bedroom with a King Bed. The bedroom had two large closets too. I felt that the room was really a true value based on the amount of space and food that were included with the rate.
The pool was the only slight disappointment. It was TINY. There was an indoor/outdoor pool which you could swim under the wall (Peyton really found that to be neat) however it was so small and overcrowded that we didn’t stay long. Also, the chlorine was super HIGH and the kids eyes were bothered almost immediately. We didn’t pack our goggles so the chlorine really bothered their eyes However, we didn’t select the hotel based on the pool so all in all I would stay there again for sure. There was a hot tub too.
In my opinion Drury Hotels offer a nice and clean hotel chain with a lot of extras. I think it is a good value for families who are traveling. My son was in LOVE with the free popcorn and drinks in the lobby too.
Disclosure: This review is 100% my honest opinion. Stockpiling Moms did not pay for my hotel stay – it was paid for by my family. I would welcome the opportunity to work with Drury Hotels in the future.

We stay at this hotel every year for my husband’s annual meeting for work. Clean, great staff, free breakfast, connected to the Convention Center…..highly recommended also.
Thanks Rhonda!
