Hotel Felix Review, Chicago, IL – Eco Friendly Hotel with a Great Location
I wanted to share with you my Hotel Felix Review, Chicago, IL. We visited Chicago for business and stayed at the Hotel Felix. I decided to shoot a quick video of the room once we arrived.
The Hotel Felix is an eco-friendly boutique hotel in downtown Chicago’s River North neighborhood. Located on the corner of Clark and Huron streets, the Hotel Felix is only steps away from restaurants, galleries, nightlife, and the famous Magnificent Mile shopping which makes it very convenient. It is a great location for girls weekend getaway of shopping in Chicago!
The Hotel Felix is a 4-star hotel. As downtown Chicago’s first hotel to receive a Silver LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, they go to great lengths to preserve a natural environment. You can tell from the design and choice of decorations too. It has a nice “artsy” feel.
As you enter our lobby, you will quickly find the elements of life… earth, wind, water, and fire. It is a contemporary design with some cool artwork. It was affordable with rooms starting at $89 and it was clean. The rooms were small but you aren’t in the City for the rooms. I am there for location and the Hotel Felix provided that. Plus it was clean and safe.
I did like the location. It was really convenient and within walking distance to shopping and dining. It felt safe for women traveling too. I would suggest Hotel Felix for a girl’s weekend or couples get-away.
Disclosure: Kenmore paid for our room however all opinions are 100% our own.
