Right now, you can take your kids to see thousands of the most exotic aquatic animals from around the world and share in an experience they’ll never forget for less than the cost of a movie! Not only that but you can also take them for a thrilling walk across the new Shark Bridge! What an amazing way to celebrate Shark Week!
Newport Aquarium new Shark Bridge:
During Summer Family Hours up to two kids (Ages 2-12) get in FREE with each adult paying full price. This offer is available online only for purchase on the Newport Aquarium Website so be sure to purchase before your visit. The offer is available June 1 through August 31, 2015, on Sunday – Friday from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm (excludes Saturday and July 3-5).
We took the boys to visit the Newport Aquarium and they had a blast (we did too). The new Shark Bridge was the highlight of our trip! It is perfect for thrill seekers and included in the cost of admission!
We also like how hands on the Newport Aquarium is. They have several touch stations throughout the aquarium including the Turtle Touch in the Turtle Canyon Exhibit. Of course our favorite is still touching the sharks. They start the day with a Penguin Parade, you can watch the animals being fed, they have live shows and so much more.
We love to schedule our visits around the feedings (be sure to check online) and shows that we want to see that day. You can also get your hand stamped and visit the Newport on the Levee and then come back in later in the same day for another show to really make a day of it. You could even pack a picnic and enjoy that and come back in to keep it frugal!
For more information visit NewportAquarium.com. The aquarium is open 365 days a year. I personally think the best deal is to get a season pass, with just 2 visits you have earned your money back. Also, for discounted tickets you can purchase in advance at your local Kroger on online at NewportAquarium.com (be sure to note that discounted tickets can not be combined with the summer family hours).
