This yummy Cracked Out Chicken Tater Tot Casserole is a great family dinner!  I prepared this meal in an afternoon when doing 10 Oven Ready freezer meals for my family’s dinners.  With the school year activities in full swing and a season full of football, I wanted to make a bunch of prep ahead meals that I could make for my family.

This tasty recipe has been a family favorite dinner so far out of all the freezer meals.  I served the delicious Chicken Casserole as a complete dinner and for dessert we had ice cream.  Give it a try, you will love it!

YUM!! I made this and put it directly into the oven. It was delicious! I will have to make it as a freezer meal in the future.

  2. Do you take directly out of freezer or thaw first? also, how do you cook a lot of chicken to make ahead for freezer meals?

  3. This recipe makes it seem like you put it straight into the oven from frozen, there is no mention of thawing it…but someone in the comments said it’s supposed to be thawed first. How do you thaw it correctly? Or can you just put it straight into the oven from the freezer?

    1. If you want to thaw it you just place it into the fridge overnight or until it thaws. That will give you the best results in baking.

  4. Made in advance for daughters family when she had new baby. They absolutely loved it. Wish I could make for myself and hubby but he doesn’t touch cheese!
