Cookies and Cocktails Party
My friend Kristie hosted a cookies and cocktails party, and it was so much fun. She had been wanting to host this event for some time but due to covid she had delayed it. She decided this year would be the perfect time and I am so glad she did.
She invited around 20 women who she thought would be a great blend of friends. Many of us knew each other and some we didn’t so it fun to see old friends and meet new ones too.
We each brought a favorite cookie to share. A few days prior we each had to submit our recipe to Kristie, and she surprised us with a cute cookie cookbook that she had printed, and spiral bound at Office Depot.
She served a variety of savories too and don’t forget the cocktails! She had a mistletoe margarita, jack frost and peppermint chocolate shot!
The jack frost was blue curacao and pineapple juice, and she rimmed the glass with some sugar. It was really good!
She picked up some little chalkboard signs at the local craft store and she put that out with each of the cookies. She also provided everyone with cute baggies to take home their cookies. My son and husband really enjoyed tasting all the cookies. I have several for you posted to the blog too!
