There Is No Place Like Home

There Is No Place Like Home. We are excited to share that God is leading us to another chapter in our lives. We will be moving “home” to Berea, KY at the end of the school year. This is a major change for our family but one that we are really looking forward too.  Tim will be working remotely with his current employer, and I will continue blogging. No need for any concern because Berea is only an hour and 45 minutes away so I will be within visiting distance.

There is no place like HOME!

We will miss our friends and church family here, but we are so excited to be closer to my family. They say change is good and we will have to agree.  I haven’t lived in Berea since 1995 so this is going to be a big change for me.  I am used to having lots to do and Berea is a simpler way of life.  However, that is what I am looking forward to.  My parents, brother, sister and niece all live in Berea as well as many of my extended family so this is going to be such a gift for Peyton (and me).  I grew up with my grandparents in the same town and we want that for him.  We will also be closer to Tim’s family and brother, so we plan to see them more too!

Of course, I will be sharing the moving/building process with you on the blog because that is what I do. I have always been and will continue to be an open book with you.  I am excited to share the process with you. You can check out this new House Category on the blog where I am sharing. Right now, it is full steam ahead as we are finalizing our house plans and preparing to break ground this week! We are preparing our house for listing so if you know anyone who is looking for a really nice two-story in Independence, KY let us know.
