If you are looking for the best place to stay near Nashville, TN look no further than the Drury Hotel in Franklin, TN. We had the opportunity to spend two nights there and it was a fantastic location. We seriously call it The Best Place to Stay Near Nashville, TN for so many reasons.
Location – Nashville is the capital of Tennessee, and is the second largest city in the state. It is often referred to as “Music City.” The Drury Plaza Hotel Nashville Franklin, is conveniently located off I-65. The Drury hotel in Franklin is close to local attractions such as Lotz House Museum, Carter House, Historic Carnton Plantation, downtown Franklin, Franklin Theater, McGavock Confederate Cemetery, Leiper’s Fork and Confederate Memorial Park at Winstead Hill.
It is not far from attractions such as Ryman Auditorium, Fontanel Mansion, Schermerhorn Symphony Center, RCA Studio B, Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, the Johnny Cash Museum and The Hermitage, Home of President Andrew Jackson.
Amenities – Hotel guests enjoy free breakfast, free 5:30 Kickback®, free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. The hotel features a beautiful lobby with plenty of space to relax and visit with friends and family. In addition you can grab some fresh popcorn to snack on. The hotel offers a nice indoor pool and work out facilities too.
Clean and Comfortable – We found the room to be clean and comfortable. This is HUGE when I am trying to find a place to stay. I want a room that is cleaned well. The beds were comfy and they provided lots of nice pillows too! The pull out sofa was even comfortable. My teen had no complaints and he slept on it for two nights.
Plenty of Space – With the two room suite we had plenty of space for our family to enjoy. Our room had a full size sofa bed, mini-fridge, large bathroom and two queen size beds. My family enjoyed the space because there were two tv’s and my son slept on the pull out sofa. This way he had his “own room” and we all had space to relax and unwind. We also appreciated the beautiful lobby and all the space it provided.
The Drury Hotel in Franklin, TN was perfect location for our weekend getaway to Nashville. If you are looking for a spacious and clean hotel that isn’t in the heart of the action but near it this is the destination for you!

The Drury Plaza Hotel looks awesome from the outside, which is always a plus when arriving to a hotel. The room you had appears to be comfy and spacious, and WOW to that lobby!
