At participating Walmart stores, you will automatically receive a $25 Walmart gift card with your purchase of a Samsung Galaxy Centura or Galaxy Discover from Straight Talk! The special in-store (and online) promotion runs from May 1 to May 31, 2014.
Every Saturday in May, starting on 5/10/14 you can learn more about Straight Talk in person by visiting your local Walmart wireless centers. There will be a special demo every Saturday so that you can check it out in person if you want before you buy. If you can’t make it in on a Saturday, you can still visit the wireless center all month for this bonus gift card offer!

Now, with up to 10X more data than the other guys, Straight Talk brings you 3.0 GB of high-speed data each month. After reaching 3.0 GB of high-speed data, data speeds will be reduced for the remainder of the 30-day cycle. Of course, this happened to Shelley this month 🙂 She got this message when it did which was really cool!
Straight Talk also launched an updated plan for casual users – $30 a month for 1,500 minutes of talk, unlimited texting and 100 MB of data (plan not compatible with most smartphones). This would be perfect for my husband who does little talking or texting on the cell. However that would never work for Shelley or me!
