Hyatt Regency Indianapolis Hotel Review - Downtown, Indianapolis, IN

Hyatt Regency Indianapolis Hotel Review. We traveled to Indianapolis, Indiana on Saturday and stayed at the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis Hotel in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana.  We had never stayed at this location, but we liked the convenience to the event we were participating in Saturday morning and to shopping and dining.  If you are visiting the Indianapolis Speedway in Indianapolis, IN this hotel would be a good choice.

When we walked into the lobby it was very contemporary.  It was an atrium lobby with artwork and glass and had a very modern feel to it.  We checked in quickly and then headed up to our room to check it out.  The accommodations were nice and clean.

It was also very modern and clean and simple in terms of the decor.  I liked the gray color palette.  My favorite was the chair by the window.  It allowed me a place to blog and to check out the view at the same time.

The beds were soft and comfortable.  In all the room was very clean.  I was concerned with the atrium lobby that we would hear a lot of noise but was relieved that we didn’t.  That evening we walked to dinner and were thrilled to find that it was close to many nice choices.

In addition, it was within walking distance to a nice shopping mall.  If you are looking for an affordable stay in downtown Indianapolis, IN within walking distance to dining and entertainment then this would be a good choice for you.  Our only complaint was we had to pay for parking, and it was a long walk from the garage to our room but otherwise that was our only complaint.

Kissing The Brickyard for Luck! Indianapolis Motor Speedway

On a side not if you have never been to the Indianapolis Speedway in Indianapolis, IN it is totally worth the trip!  I had an amazing time taking it all in and of course I HAD to kiss the brickyard!  I mean it is for good luck! Shelley wasn’t willing to give it a try, but I never let a cool opportunity pass me up!

Disclosure:  Our room was paid for by the Eucerin team however all opinions of this post are 100% our own.
