The G Free Diet Book Review

The G Free Diet Book Review. After my diagnosis the first book I purchased was The G Free Diet by Elisabeth Hasselbeck. I think after a diagnosis, even if you are happy to finally know what is wrong with you – the best thing you can do is “do your homework”.

The G Free Diet Book Review:

So, I invested in this book because of the celebrity status and popularity of Elisabeth Hasselbeck. I watched every single episode of Survivor when she was on the show and really enjoy watching her on the View, so I guess I relate to her a bit when it comes to “her story”.

I was happy to see that her book shared “her journey” as it was similar to mine. I think it is a nice balance of her story, information and resources. I had a lot of takeaways from the book including how to “live” gluten free. I thought the book was well written and full of tips. I am not sure I would invest in the book – if you can check it out at the library, I would consider that option. I don’t consider it a book that I would reference often however if you were newly diagnosed or have a family member who is – it is a good read. I finished it cover to cover in less than 24 hours.

I would also add that I am not a fan of calling this a “diet”.  It is a lifestyle in my opinion.

It is available on Amazon.com for a bargain price right now of $6.00 (pricing may change). It is also available on Kindle for $9.99 (pricing may change).

Disclosure: This is not a sponsored post. I paid for my product and all opinions are 100% my own.
