Summer Activities To Do With Your Kids

Ah Summertime. It is seriously my favorite time of the year! I LOVE the last day of school better than any other day of the year. I get my son back! As you know I recently wrote about how we only get 18 summers with our kids. This is why I love the last day of school! We start having fun the day he gets out school. It is a time for trying new things, going on vacation, creating memories.

I thought I would share with you some of our favorite summer activities that you could try with your kids. As the summer progresses consider taking some vacation days if you work throughout the summer. Enjoy the time with your kids because it passes so quickly.

Create a summer bucket list. The days are long but the years are short. Summer break has about 85 days and though that may seem like a lot it isn’t!

2. Go on a picnic at the park
3. Go on vacation
4. Kayak
5. Go Caving
6. See a movie
7. Try something new
8. Go camping
9. Go to a water park
10. Visit a state park

12. Visit the aquarium
13. Grill a frozen pizza
14. Have a water balloon fight
15. Go to the park
16. Go Berry Picking
17. Go Horse Back Riding
18. Go to a golf range
19. Find free summer activities in your area (library/parks and rec)
20. Read a book together (take turns reading chapters)
21. Have a water gun fight
22. Go creeking
23. Visit a lake
24. Go fishing
25. Go hiking
