Skyline Dip
Skyline Dip is a fan favorite at my house! This is such an easy appetizer to prepare and always the first dip gone at a party or on game day. There are only 3 ingredients needed for this easy appetizer!
Best of all Skyline Chili is Gluten Free so Melissa can enjoy it too!
My boys love when we have Appetizer night and this is one of the dishes on the table. My oldest son loves Skyline. If you have never tried it before it is available at grocery stores nation wide. It is Cincinnati Style Chili and extremely popular here in NKY.
Whenever I have a party and am serving this dip I usually make two batches of them. I like to serve this appetizer with tortilla chips and Fritos. Some people prefer tortilla chips but some like Fritos — like me 😉 Skyline is a Cincinnati Style product – however this is a great copycat recipe too.
You can also use any canned chili that you want for this recipe but of course we think Skyline Chili is the best. You can also used FROZEN Cream Cheese – this is a stockpile ingredient at my house for sure! By freezing it you can extended the life when you catch it on sale.
Did you know that you can freeze cream cheese? It works great and saves money! I like to purchase cream cheese in bulk on sale and stockpile it for recipes.
This easy recipe for Skyline Dip is perfect to serve or take to a New Year’s Eve party or game day! You only need just a few ingredients and you will have a scrumptious appetizer recipe that everyone will be excited about. All you need is cream cheese, can of chili and cheese.
Be sure to give this easy appetizer dip recipe a try on game day. You will be glad you did and so will your company! You can also prepare this recipe in the slow cooker! Check out this Crockpot Skyline Dip recipe too!

i dont know that ive seen sky line chili in my store. can you use another canned chili?
You can! I have used hormel before.
i always sure salsa.
That sounds yummy! I will have to try that!
Yes but I use the kind with no beans.
Thanks!
Delicious, but costs more than $6 with the Skyline chili, cream cheese, shredded cheese, and chips. I also chop up an onion for added flavor.
When the original post was written it didn’t cost more than $6. Sad to see where grocery prices have gone.
I love Skyline dip. It’s a crowd pleaser and easy to make.
It is for sure a stockpile recipe at my house 🙂
Can you make it a 3 way and add beans?
Yes! That would be delicious too!
I have to respectfully disagree. There is no substitute for the cinnamon goodness of a Cincinnati style chili!
Never fails to please a crowd!
Add diced tomato / onion / scallions to make it over the top better! Onions can be cooked in. Tomatoes and scallions so sprinkle on top.
You could but this is a Cincinnati tradition as it is posted. 🙂
