Mummy Hot Dogs

Mummy Hot Dogs are the perfect Halloween party food. They are so easy to prepare and the kids love them!  My son loves to serve these for friends and we enjoy them before Trick-or-Treating too!

Mummy Hot Dogs are the perfect Halloween party food. They are so easy to prepare and the kids love them!

They are so easy to prepare with only three ingredients.  All you need is hot dogs, crescent roll dough and ketchup or mustard.

To prepare simply wrap the crescent dough around each hot dog so that they look like mummies.  Place on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.  Once cool add drops of ketchup or mustard for eyes.  That is it!  Mummy Hot Dogs are so easy to make and everyone will love them.

My son and husband love when I make these.  They are a twist on the traditional pigs in a blanket.   Easy peasy to prepare and everyone will love them.  I use Bratts for my husband.  He loves them. It is the grown up version of Mummy Dogs.  Best of all you can use any brand or version for this recipe.  Turkey dogs, chicken dogs, Bratts, Metts or traditional hot dogs. The sky is the limit.

I think children will love having this for lunch or dinner. They can be made in advance and reheated in the microwave or oven too! I used to make these with my students and they loved them.  Brings back fond memories and now I have passed that tradition on to my son too!  Be sure to give Mummy Dogs a try and if you are serving for a Halloween party I suggest you make Mummy Juice Boxes too!

Perfect for your next Halloween Party Menu Plan.  My son requests these every single year.  I hope you family enjoys them as much as mine does.
