After School Fruit Smoothie

I am in LOVE with this after school fruit smoothie recipe! Fruit Smoothies are a great way to enjoy a refreshing pick-me-up after the gym or on a hot summer day. At our house the count down is ON for summer break! In fact yesterday when my son got into the car he announced me to that there are only 15 days left! I decided it was time to make our annual countdown calendar and to celebrate with a fruit smoothie today after school!
I picked up a can of DOLE Canned Pineapple Juice because it is so refreshing and makes a great base for my fruit smoothies. It is 100% juice and not from concentrate which I love and it is an excellent source of Vitamin C and a good source of Vitamins A&E. Best of all it is naturally gluten free so I can enjoy it too! I love that DOLE Pineapple Juice is non GMO too! It is a nice alternative to other bases for my fruit smoothies and really blends up into a flavorful beverage.
You can simply pair the fruit smoothie with a simple high protein snack for a complete and energizing after school treat. We used turkey pepperoni and cheese cubes to make an easy kabob on a toothpick. You can add some almonds or peanuts too for a salty addition to the high protein snack too! This celebration snack was a huge Mom Win!
DOLE Pineapple Juice is a stockpile item at my house. I can use it in fruit smoothies and homemade Popsicle’s all summer long! Dole Canned Pineapple Juice can be found in the shelf-stable juice aisle of grocery and super-center stores nationwide. It’s available in both a 46 oz can or 6 oz 6-pack of cans. I love to keep both on hand.
The larger 46 oz can is perfect for making punch but the 6 oz cans are perfect for portion control and packing in lunches or taking to the pool.
