Kia Rio Review - An Affordable Car with Plenty of Room

Check out our Kia Rio Review. We had the opportunity to travel to Orlando, FL before my open heart surgery  where we stayed at a gorgeous Orlando Vacation Home Rental near Disney . The vacation was perfect! We had the opportunity to test drive a Kia Rio for the week. I will admit that when we picked up the car that I was a little concerned that we wouldn’t have enough space.  We made the choice to fly to Orlando because we didn’t have the time to spend making the drive. We found some inexpensive air fares and booked our flights. Having a car in Orlando is really important because there is so much to see and do. We were excited to spend the week test driving the Kia Rio.

Kia Rio Review - An Affordable Car with Plenty of Room

Kia Rio Review:

The Kia Rio is a very affordable car. It is priced starting at $13,600. It gets really good gas mileage! It gets 29 MPG in the city and 37 MPG on the highway. Not only did we get great gas mileage we enjoyed being able to park with ease. There was never a spot that our Kia Rio couldn’t fit into. That is a huge perk in Orlando when you are parking at the attractions.

Our Kia also had an amazing navigation system. That is another perk in terms of driving in a city that you are not familiar with. In the end my concerns of not having enough room were not true. The Kia Rio easily fit our luggage and our family of 3 fit nicely into this vehicle. We never felt cramped and even my husband who is not petite said that he was really impressed with the Kia Rio. He was impressed with the horsepower, ease of parking and never felt like we weren’t able to keep up on the interstate.

I loved the auto Start/Stop push ignition button feature that the Kia offers. We also loved the rear backup parking feature! It made backing up a breeze. After spending the week in a Kia Rio I would definitely drive one again. I would suggest it as a starter car for a young driver, a commuter car for work or as a perfectly priced car for someone who is on a budget. I am excited to test drive some of the other Kia vehicles in their product line.

I also took a few minutes to shoot a quick video on the features of the Kia Rio too.

Disclosure:  I was provided a Kia Rio to drive for 1 week however all opinions are 100% our own.
