How to butter your corn while boiling it
How to butter your corn while boiling it. Did you know you can butter corn while you cook it? This is a great tip for how to butter your corn while boiling it is as simple as putting butter in the water with the corn! I came across this amazing tip from a friend. She said she has been making her corn on the cob this way for years. She has four small children and she said doing this tip makes it easier for her to serve the corn on the cob because she doesn’t have to butter the corn before serving it to her kids.
The trick of this tip is that the butter cooks into your corn on the cob while it is boiling. Add your corn to a pot full of boiling water. Next all you need to do is add 1 stick of butter to it. The butter will melt and be absorb by the corn on the cob as it boils. Once the corn is done boiling, which for me I usually boil my corn on the cob for 15 minutes, all you need to do is season with salt and pepper if desired. Let it cool for a couple minutes for the kiddos and serve. She learned this when she was working in a family restaurant.
