Haier French Door Refrigerator Review:

We were recently offered the opportunity to review a Haier French Drawer Refrigerator. I wasn’t sure how I would feel about having a drawer freezer, but I am excited to say that I am enjoying it. I have taken the last several weeks to use it and really get a feel for it before sharing my review with you.

I am using this refrigerator for my stockpile. The freezer drawer is perfect for a large stockpile of meat. I am using it to hold frozen chicken breasts. I bought a 20 lb. box of chicken from Zaycon Foods and then brought it home and froze it with my foodsaver. The drawer is perfect for this.

The refrigerator is perfect for holding our stockpile of drinks. My son plays soccer, so we have Powerade, bottled water and red bull (for my husband) and don’t forget the capri sun. This fridge has plenty of room for my grocery stockpile. In addition, I like the compartments and French doors.

This is a 20.6 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator. It is Energy Star qualified too. This means that it conserves natural resources and saves money on electric bills by offering significant energy savings over non-Energy Star models. I love that it is saving me money because it is a win/win. I save money on my groceries and then I use the refrigerator to store the stockpile.

I am in love with the spill proof glass shelves. They prevent liquids from leaking from one shelf to the next, helping your fridge stay clean and in case of accident this really comes in handy. I am using this for my stockpile, but my son and his friends use it often to grab drinks when they are playing. This works out well because I don’t have to worry if one of them spills something.

Another feature that I love is this model has an ice maker in the freezer drawer too! I love is all of the fresh food door shelves too. It helps keep my stockpile organized. The crisper drawer also comes in handy, even though right now I am using it for my stockpile of cheese :-). All in all, this fridge is a great value compared to other French Door refrigerators. I am really pleased with it and would recommend it.  For the price this is a nice quality and great option for a stainless steel!
