Granny’s Meatloaf
This is my Granny’s Meatloaf recipe. There is nothing better than a recipe that immediately takes you back to your childhood and this is one that does that for me. I like to serve it with mashed potatoes and green beans.
Granny’s Meatloaf:
Instead of using ketchup this recipe has a sauce that you make with tomato sauce, brown sugar, mustard and vinegar.
You can use your choice of bread crumbs or cracker crumbs. I make mine with gluten free now that I have Celiac disease but you can use traditional.
The recipe is easy to make with only 6 ingredients in the actual meatloaf and four in the sauce. My son doesn’t like onions so I used onion powder instead. That was a great way to have the flavor without using fresh onion. This is easy to make and best of all it tastes amazing as a leftover. It freezes well too! I hope you enjoy it as much as do.
