Grandma’s Slow Cooker Chicken Soup
This delicious recipe for Grandma’s Slow Cooker Chicken Soup is one of my all time comfort foods to make. It brings back memories as I enjoy each bite. My boys look forward to this soup and I hope they will continue to have memories as they get older too.
I like that I can make it all in my crockpot, because if you see a lot of my recipes you know I love using my slow cookers. If you are new to the blog welcome and you will see that I am known to using my crockpots as much as I can when malking dinner for my family of five.
For this recipe you just need a little over a handful of ingredients and you may even have them in your kitchen right now. All you need is chicken, carrots, onion, parsley flakes, black pepper, chicken broth and egg noodles. Combine everything together except the egg noodles and let it cook all day.
The best thing about this recipe is it can cook in as little as 4 hours or as long as 10 hours. Just a half hour before serving add in the noodles. Serve and enjoy! Be sure to give Grandma’s Slow Cooker Chicken Soup recipe a try on a cold night, you will not be disappointed!

Grandma's Slow Cooker Chicken Soup
Ingredients
- 3- 4 whole boneless skinless chicken breasts (uncooked)
- 1 whole carrot, peeled and diced
- 1/2 whole medium onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp dried parsley flakes
- 3 cans 15 oz chicken broth
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups egg noodles
Instructions
- Add all ingredients except egg noodles to a 6 QT slow cooker and stir.
- Place lid on and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
