DIY Flag Shirt
This summer fun craft idea for DIY Flag Shirt is so easy for kids! My son Max went to camp with my parents over the weekend and they made these shirts at craft time.
All you need is a white shirt, red and blue acrylic paints or fabric paints and sponge wands. So simple but such a cute idea for 4th of July or any patriotic holiday.
DIY Flag Shirt Instructions:
Start by laying out the shirt flat on a solid surface, such as a table.
Next put blue paint on the child’s palm and place the hand-print on the upper corner of the shirt.
Next dip the sponge wand (you can find these at Michael’s or Walmart) in the red paint and make stripes.
If you want then you can use a fabric marker and write the child’s name, date or year, etc.
Let dry then wear!
We hope you enjoy this easy DIY Flag Shirt. It is so much fun to do with kids this summer! It would be a great craft project to complete with the kids on July the 4th.
