Crockpot Teriyaki Chicken
Crockpot Teriyaki Chicken is a great freezer meal recipe! You can prep this meal ahead of time and freeze then when you are ready to make it just thaw and dump in the slow cooker.
The best thing about this recipe besides the great taste is you ONLY need 5 ingredients! Yes, that is it! I love easy recipes that don’t take many ingredients. This is an affordable recipe that is perfect if you are feeding a large crowd. You can’t go wrong with this on your menu plan.
I served the Teriyaki Chicken over steamed white rice and my husband, and I loved it. If you are prepping this as a freezer meal, then be sure to write on the Ziploc bag – cook on Low 4-6 hours. Add all the ingredients to the Ziploc bag except the chicken broth and freeze. When you are ready to use it, pull out of the freezer and let it thaw in the fridge overnight. In the morning add your chicken broth and the contents of the bag to the slow cooker and cover. Cook on low for 6 hours. You can add a little cornstarch to thicken the sauce at the end of cooking if you want.
You can serve this with some mixed vegetables and rolls. Be sure that you invest in a good quality slow cooker. Our favorite is this programmable cook and carry 6qt oval slow cooker. We hope you enjoy this easy and delicious Crockpot Teriyaki Chicken as much as we did! It is he perfect recipe for busy nights.
You can make this a gluten free recipe by substituting gluten free soy sauce. We hope you enjoy it!

Is the chicken cooked before freezing?
No, uncooked.
This looks delicious!
I noticed that the picture is just chicken pieces on rice. Isn’t there any sauce with it? I would think the liquids would make a nice sauce?? Thanks
There is some but if you want you could double the liquids
Added pineapple chunks-extra tasty!
Hi, this sounds good, what size crockpot do you use for all these Recipes
We prefer a 5 or 6 qt.
