Crockpot Baked Sweet Potatoes
Do you love sweet potatoes? When I go out to dinner I love to order baked sweet potatoes as my side dish. I love it even more when I can get my potato loaded with all that creamy goodness! Crockpot Baked Sweet Potatoes are the easiest way to make a baked sweet potato. I wish I had known how to cook them this way sooner than now.
All of this time I was making my sweet potatoes in the oven. Plus it would heat up my house. How did I not know to throw them in the slow cooker like you do for Crockpot Baked Potatoes!
I am beyond happy to discover that you can make Baked Sweet Potatoes in the slow cooker and in the future this is the only way I will make them!
Start by simply wrap each sweet potato completely in aluminium foil. Place in the crockpot and place lid on top. Cook on low for 4-5 hours. Remove carefully from the slow cooker and place on the dinner plate. Remove the foil and serve with your desired toppings.
We love to make loaded baked sweet potatoes for a side dish at dinner. When sweet potatoes are on sale at Kroger or I find them on managers special I always pick them up and make them.
