Blackberry Oatmeal is a great way to start your day!

It is simple to prepare.  Simply boil your water and add your oatmeal, blackberries and strawberries.  Reduce the heat and cook for 5 minutes.  Once complete simply add a little honey and then enjoy this delicious breakfast that is perfect for on the go!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal
  • 1/3 cup blackberries
  • 2 strawberries chopped
  • 1-2 Tbsp honey

Instructions

  • Heat water in pot to boiling.
  • Stir in oatmeal, blackberries and strawberries.
  • Reduce heat to medium and let cook for 5 minutes.
  • Stir occasionally.
  • Remove from heat and let sit for 1 minute.
  • Add honey for sweetness, you as much as desired.
  • Serve and enjoy!
