Pizza Waffle Taco
I created this Pizza Waffle Taco for my son when he asked me if he could have pizza for breakfast and I replied YES he was curious to see what made me change my mind.
It never ceases to amaze me that when I ask my nine year old what he wants for breakfast that he often replies “pizza”. What? I thought this was something that college students ate. However since he was little he always asks me for pizza for breakfast. Well now I have the best solution ever!
This is a super easy recipe to make and best of all it is great for breakfast, lunch or dinner! In fact we are addicted to how easy it is to make waffle tacos at our house! This is the perfect meal on the go. My son loves these for a quick after school snack too!
Best of all this recipe took me less than 10 minutes to prepare from start to finish and that is so important to me as a busy working Mom. I hope you all enjoy this Pizza Waffle Taco as much as my son did! I love this new twist on the traditional waffle and the traditional taco night!
Ingredients
- 1 box Eggo Waffles
- 1 jar Pizza Sauce
- 1 package pepperoni
- 1 cup of mozzarella cheese
- optional - other pizza toppings
Instructions
- Toast your Eggo Waffles
- Add 2 TBSP mozzarella cheese to each waffle
- Add 6 Pepperoni and 2 TBSP Pizza Sauce to each waffle
- Toast again for 1 minute
- Slightly bend your waffles into a taco
- Add additional cheese and enjoy!
