Carnival Cruise Line Melting Cake

If you love cruise line desserts like I do, you will love this Carnival Cruise Line Melting Cake!  It is hands down my favorite dessert! I often cook it a little longer than it says because I like the melting part but I like a solid outside.  How much do I love this dessert?  Enough to order two with dinner, and now, I make them at home! There is nothing like it!  This is my little slice of heaven!

Making this Carnival Cruise Line Melting Cake couldn’t be easier! It is also something the kids can help with! Everyone in my family gets excited when they see this Melting cake on the menu plan.  Why Yes, I do plan dessert a couple of nights a week!  We love this special treat!

Most of what you need for this recipe you have in your pantry! 6oz Dark Chocolate, 6oz Butter, 4 Eggs, 3oz Sugar and 2oz Flour is all you need! Hope you love their dessert as much as I do!


Melting Cake

  • 6 oz Dark Chocolate
  • 6 oz Butter
  • 4 Eggs
  • 3 oz Sugar
  • 2 oz Flour


  • Melt the chocolate and butter
  • Mix eggs and sugar and whisk for a few minutes, then add flour
  • Add the egg mix to the melted chocolate and mix
  • Pour the mix in a greased mold or ramekin
  • Bake directly in the oven at 390°F for 14 minutes
