Caprese Skewers with Balsamic

My friend Crystal made these easy Caprese Skewers with Balsamic for a quick and delicious appetizer. This is her favorite recipe to prepare when she goes to parties. We hosted a GFWC Berea Women’s Club open house and the theme for the food was finger foods. I was so impressed with how easy this appetizer was to prepare and it tasted AMAZING!  I asked her if I could share it with you.

Caprese Skewers with Balsamic:

She uses mozzarella cheese sticks instead of fresh mozzarella to keep it simple. As a busy Mom I totally appreciate that! Of course if you prefer you can use fresh mozzarella. Regardless this appetizer is packed with flavor and is simple to prepare.  I love that it has an elegant look without spending a ton of money or time in the kitchen.

In fact she told me this is her “go to” appetizer because she get so many compliments when she makes this and it is so easy to prepare. If you are looking for a super quick and easy dish to take to a party or special event then look no further. This is it! Plus it is low carb too! That is another win! It can be gluten free depending on the glaze you use.

I hope you enjoy these light and fresh Caprese Skewers with Balsamic as much as we did! They will be perfect for your next party, event or even tailgating. You can easily prep them the night before and add the glaze right before serving. I love prep ahead appetizers! It keeps party planning a breeze. Especially when you serve finger foods! Easy to serve and no need for a fork.

Feel free to make your own glaze or you can purchase this glaze online.
