Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot. This was one of the highlights of our trip as we were able to meet 5 princesses at this dinner.

Join Disney Princesses for Storybook Dining inside a medieval castle with soaring archways and cathedral ceilings. You will feel like you took a trip back in time when you walk into this medieval castle.

Dine in a medieval castle where you’ll encounter a royal promenade of princess friends who can’t wait to meet you. We met Belle, Tiana, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Ariel at our dinner. The princesses do vary however, we have been told Cinderella is never at this venue.

You will enjoy Norwegian-inspired fare for your choice of breakfast, lunch or dinner. The servers are from Norway which was a cool experience too! They come to Disney for a yearlong program to work as servers for this dining experience.

Delight in family-style platters fit for royalty! For breakfast, enjoy pastries, scrambled eggs, potato casserole and Norwegian waffles! Lunch and dinner highlights include field greens salad with lingonberry vinaigrette, traditional kjØttkake (Norwegian meatballs) and grilled salmon. They accommodated my gluten free needs with no concern! They even served me gluten free rolls and macaroni and cheese.

Be sure to save room for dessert—a platter of 2 delectable desserts served family-style for the perfect ending to your feast. The chef made me a delicious gluten free chocolate cake for dessert as we were celebrating my birthday!

This was my second time at the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. The first time was for breakfast, and I preferred dinner. It was absolutely delicious, and I give this experience a 10/10!
