Disney World Monorail Transportation
Let me start by saying that in my opinion the Disney World Monorail Transportation is the greatest! Now I know some may disagree, but I can bet that it is very few people. The monorail is a great way to get between Magic Kingdom and Epcot.
It is also a fabulous treat if you are staying at the Grand Floridian, Polynesian or the Contemporary because you are right on the monorail track. You can walk steps and be on the transportation within minutes. Greatest thing is, you do not have to be a guest staying at these resorts to use the monorail.
We had a blast using the monorail to get to the Polynesian for a breakfast reservation we had at O’hana. We were staying at Port Orleans Riverside and we took the bus transportation to Magic Kingdom. Then we got on the monorail and rode it around to the resort, where we got off and headed to the restaurant.
Once we were done eating and exploring the resort, we got back on the monorail and rode it to the TCC – Transportation and Ticket Center. This ticket center is located at the entrance of Epcot. We stepped off and walked into Epcot for the day.
Everyone had to take one last ride on the Disney World Monorail Transportation before we left, because the kids love it. Our family hopes some day to be able to stay at a resort on the monorail track. Be sure to go for a spin even if you are not staying at a resort on the track. It is a lot of fun and a way to get out of the heat!
