We had the opportunity to take our boys and it was so much fun! Best of all it is a zero-emissions electric karts facility! There were no toxic fumes or odors. XhilaRacing indoor electric go karting is the perfect place for racing enthusiasts, thrill seekers and families looking for exhilarating entertainment.
XhilarRacing High-Speed Indoor Electric Go-Karting:
Every ride is thrilling with the ability to reach speeds of up to 45 miles per hour (adults) and 25 miles per hour (youth) on their 1/4-mile state-of-the-art track. Each eight-minute race allows drivers to race against the clock, attempting to achieve their best lap time. Now if you think that 8 minutes is not long enough it is longer than you think. You get hot in your helmet but also your hands get tired and so taking a break in between sessions would be something that we would suggest.
Our number one concern was this safe for our kids? However, we found it to be not only be safe but also a lot of fun! The go karts are clean, and the facility is too! You watch a brief educational video before driving and then you are provided a hair protector, helmet and neck brace. The Xtreme Karts are fully adjustable and are designed for ultimate speed and safety, plus they offer less noise, less odor and no exhaust. This was something we loved!
XhilaRacing offers Youth Races for ages 8 to 15 at speeds of up to 25 miles per hour, and Adult Races for ages 16 and older at speeds of up to 45 miles per hour. There is no reservation required for open public racing.

They are open year-round, and the track is located at 24 Spiral Drive in Florence Kentucky or call 859-371-5278. Be sure to check online to see the hours and schedule. One thing to note before making plans is that drivers to be at least 8 years old and at least 48″ tall. Also CLOSED TOE SHOES ARE A MUST! For your safety, closed toe shoes are required while racing. No flip flops will be allowed.
If you are like us, you are going to love the thrill of electric go-kart racing! Shelley and I really enjoyed sharing this experience with our kids and yes, we did drive too! Our boys gave it two thumbs up!
