Strawberry Oatmeal

One of my all time favorite breakfast recipes is Strawberry Oatmeal which only requires 4 ingredients! I love, love, love strawberries and oatmeal. My favorite fruit to have and I love to eat oatmeal at least once or twice a week for breakfast.

Strawberry Oatmeal is an easy breakfast recipe.

This is a great way to add some fruit to plain oatmeal and make it taste different. My youngest son loves when I make this for him and sometimes he wants me to add bananas too.  You can use this Homemade Instant Oatmeal Packets Recipe and make it a snap!

Simply combine your ingredients in microwave safe bowl and just a few minutes later you have an Easy Breakfast Recipe to enjoy!  This is a great recipe if you trying to increase fiber in your diet.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Tip: Stock up on strawberries when they are on sale, flash freeze them and then you can use them for this recipe frozen right out of the freezer.

Easy Overnight Oatmeal (Crockpot)

Strawberry Oatmeal

Prep Time:5 minutes
Cook Time:3 minutes
Total Time:8 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 4 strawberries diced
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a microwavable bowl.
  • Stir.
  • Place in microwave and cook on high for 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
  • Remove from microwave and stir.
  • Let cool for 1 minute and serve.

  1. I want to try this, it sounds so easy and delicious. I’m wondering if you could top the oatmeal with walnuts or sliced banana.
