Slush Punch
Slush Punch is the perfect punch for a warm summer day. This is the punch served at my wedding to guests waiting for our arrival from the ceremony to the reception. We served it on the porch and lobby of Boone Tavern Hotel. It is a really delicious punch especially for summer.
We had to serve a non-alcoholic punch but you could definitely spike this if you desire. Best of all you can make it any color you like as you can use any flavor JELLO!
It is light and refreshing and perfect for a summer wedding. I got married on August 1st in KY so as you can imagine it was a really hot day. This punch was so refreshing to our guests as they waiting on us to arrive on a horse drawn carriage.

Slush Punch
Equipment
- 1 Pitcher or Punch Bowl
Ingredients
- 2 6 oz. packages of Jello (any flavor)
- 5 cups boiling water
- 6 cups granulated sugar
- 8 cups cold water
- 16 oz. bottle lemon juice
- 2 46 oz pineapple juice
- 3 2 liters ginger ale
Instructions
- Dissolve Jello in boiling water.
- Add sugar. Mix well.
- Add cold water.
- Add lemon juice and pineapple juice.
- Freeze
- Remove from freezer in time to get slushy.
- Add ginger ale (or champagne) and serve.
