Easy Slow-Cooker Lasagna

Easy Crockpot Lasagna is the perfect easy dinner idea for your family. Everyone loves it!

This is an easy recipe for preparing lasagna in the slow cooker!  What?  You didn’t know you could?  Well you can!  Easy Slow-Cooker Lasagna is one of my favorite recipes to prepare because the entire family loves it!

To prepare simply brown the meat in large skillet; drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce and water. Mix ricotta, 1-1/2 cups mozzarella, 2 Tbsp. Parmesan, egg and parsley. Spoon 1 cup meat sauce into slow cooker; top with layers of half each of the noodles (broken to fit) and cheese mixture. Cover with 2 cups meat sauce. Top with remaining noodles (broken to fit), cheese mixture and meat sauce. Cover with lid. Cook on LOW 4 to 6 hours or until liquid is absorbed. Sprinkle with remaining cheeses; let stand, covered, 10 min. or until melted.

It can be prepped as a freezer meal too!  Simply add all of your ingredients into a gallon size freezer bag except the jar of spaghetti sauce and freeze.  Place in the refrigerator overnight to thaw when ready to cook.  Empty all the ingredients into the slow cooker and add the jar of spaghetti sauce and cover.  Cook on low for 4 hours and enjoy!

Serve the Easy Slow-Cooker Lasagna with garlic bread and a salad and you are done!  I hope your family enjoys this as much as mine does.  It is comfort food for us.  This is a classic recipe that can easily be prepared in the crockpot.

Yes, that would be no problem! You could substitute turkey or chicken too!
