  1. Dumb question -Do you cook the chicken first? If not, it is safe to place raw chicken with the other ingredients? Just new to all this kind of food preparing.

  2. Do you empty the contents of bag into crockpot to cook – picture shows bag in pot – is it cook in the bag?

    1. Oh you empty! You can use a crockpot liner if you want to help with the aid of the cleanup. Totally your choice though.

  3. What did I do wrong…followed directions, put in crockpot on low for 6 hours and dried up. Not enough liquid. I used the juice from the pineapple chunks too. Anyone else have this issue? What other liquid base cook I add and how much? Thanks! ☺️

    1. What size slow cooker did you use? I would suggest adding 1 cup of chicken broth to the mixture if you had this problem.

  4. I am new to crock pot cooking so please excuse the question if it seems silly. Why freeze the canned pineapple with the other ingredients instead of adding it when you start the cooking process?

  5. I want to make this but my slow cooker is currently occupied. Does this recipe still work for the stove top? Thanks!

Hubby loved it. But I did put in some corn flour and 1 chicken stock cube to thicken sauce. great with the baked broccoli!
