Distillery Tour – Did you really go to KY if you didn’t visit one? There are so many to choose from. Some of our favorites include Maker’s Mark, Woodford Reserve and Buffalo Trace – however just do a search to the area of Kentucky you are visiting, and I am sure you will find one close by.

Visit Natural Bridge – Absolutely one of the coolest things to do in Kentucky. I highly recommend a trip to see Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge. This would make a great two-night destination.

Cumberland Falls the Niagara of the South – Located in Corbin, KY this is right off I-75. Take a few minutes to see Cumberland Falls and enjoy a picnic on your next road trip.

Bernheim Forest Giants – If you are heading towards Louisville, KY I would highly recommend a stop at Bernheim. It is a great spot to take a hike and picnic. The giants won’t be forever though so sure to stop soon.

Road Trip to Rabbit Hash Kentucky – If you are in Northern Kentucky this is definitely worth seeing. Located in Boone County. I would suggest an overnight at Hotel Covington. Also, check out Big Bone Lick State Park to see the bison.

Overnight Ideas in Kentucky:

Getaway at Snug Hollow Farm – Are you looking for a place to unplug, relax and unwind? If so this, is it! Experience an authentic overnight in the Holler of Kentucky. This is like taking a step back in time. As you drive up the gravel drive you will find an amazing experience awaits.

Day Trip to Shaker Village – This is another amazing place to visit in KY. If you have time spend the night and if not just spend the day. You can eat a delicious meal at the Trustee’s Table, tour the property and see the animals.

The Kentucky Castle Anniversary Destination – If you want to see the most unusual spot in Kentucky this is it! A real castle in the middle of central Kentucky is definitely worth seeing. You can schedule an overnight here or just enjoy a meal. It is worth seeing for sure.

Weekend Trip to Berea KY – A Day trip or overnight stop in Berea, KY is worth taking. There is lots to see and do, shopping, local food choice and crafts galore! Plus, home to Berea, College and the Historic Boone Tavern Hotel and Restaurant.
