How To Make Lunchbox Icepacks
I love these DIY Lunchbox Ice packs. I picked up a four pack of sponges at the grocery for $1.24. Then I came home and turned them into four DIY Lunchbox Ice packs. I will never buy an ice pack again. I always have sponges in my stockpile and will be able to make these without spending a dime. Plus there are no chemicals inside that could leak on my son’s food.
To make, just saturate a clean sponge with water and place into a ziplock bag. Lay flat in the freezer and freeze overnight. In the morning, just toss them into the lunch boxes. As they melt, they will reabsorb the water so just toss them back in the freezer after school!
