Homemade Peanut Butter Cups
Homemade Peanut Butter Cups is a family favorite at our house that my Mother-In-Law makes for Christmas every year! We love it! However, it would make a great treat anytime of the year! You could even make these in muffin cups if you wanted too! Be sure to give this easy bar pan version of peanut butter cups a try.
Homemade Peanut Butter Cups taste AMAZING! So easy to make this treat that everyone will enjoy! You can easily make this recipe gluten free when you use a gluten free graham cracker. They have a great flavor, and everyone enjoys them. You could even package them up and gift them as gifts during the holidays.
This is a family favorite that my MIL makes every year. It isn’t Christmas without Peanut Butter Cups. It is such an easy recipe because you just combine the ingredients and press into a bar pan and then cut and enjoy.
Equipment
- 1 9x13x2 inch casserole dish
Ingredients
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs (can use gluten free)
- 1 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 12 oz. chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 stick melted butter
- 1 lb. Powdered sugar
Instructions
- Combine everything but chocolate chips.
- Press into 9x13 pan.
- Melt chips and spread on top.
- Refrigerate until set.
- Cut and enjoy!

These do look yummy. I made homemade peanut butter cups once. I don’t recall exactly, but I do remember a double boiler, and you mix chocolate and peanut butter together for the filling. The outter layer (like a real cup) is just chocolate. I think it was more layered like this one though as opposed to a filling.
