Panko Fried Chicken Tenders
Panko Fried Chicken Tenders are the BEST way to make melt in your mouth chicken tenders for your family! My boys absolutely love this recipe and my hubby did too. It was so easy to make these delicious chicken tenders and I do not think I will make them any other way now. Plus, I was able to make the sides and homemade gravy while the chicken was cooking and have a complete dinner ready in 30 minutes. This is an amazing feat for my busy family of five on a hectic week night full of activities!
The panko gives the chicken tenders a nice crunchy layer on the outside, which my family loves and I do too. I placed the mixture ingredients in a large ziploc bag and started by adding three pieces of chicken at a time and coating the chicken by shaking the bag. Once I had all of the chicken tenders coated, I placed them in a skillet with hot oil. I made sure not to crowd them too much in the skillet. I made two batches to make sure they were fried evenly. Fry them on both sides and place them on a baking sheet in the oven to finish cooking.
While they were in the oven I made some Homemade Chicken Gravy (recipe coming soon) with the leftover grease in the skillet. You don’t have to do this, but my family loves homemade gravy poured over the chicken tenders. For our dinner that night I served Potato Foil Packets (which I prepped ahead in the morning and had ready to go) and Buttered Corn with Panko Fried Chicken Tenders.
