Mardi Gras Handprint Mask Craft

This Mardi Gras Handprint Mask Craft is so easy to make and fun for the kids!

I love this Mardi Gras Handprint Mask Craft.  Here is an easy mask craft you can do with your children or for yourself if you have a party to go too. My boys had so much fun making these and cannot wait to wear them on Mardi Gras!

Mardi Gras is French for Fat Tuesday, referring to the practice of the last night of eating richer, fatty foods before the ritual fasting of the Lenten season, which begins on Ash Wednesday.

Mardi Gras Handprint Mask Craft:

All you need for this easy craft is some construction paper, scissors, tape, pen or pencil and a straw. Plus whatever you want to decorate it with such as markers, paint, glitter or crayons.

Trace your hand on the paper and cut out. Next line up the hand cut outs and tape together (Use picture above). Then cut out eye holes. Next decorate it however you want too. Once done with that attach the straw to it with tape and your mask is done!

Mardi Gras Day is always on a Tuesday. My children had so much fun making these! I hope you do as well.  These masks would be fun for teachers too!

Lent Recipes:

Slow Cooker Seafood Gumbo

Herb & Lemon Butter Tilapia

Cajun Blackened Fish Tacos

Beer Battered Fish Sandwich

BAJA Tilapia
