Save Butter Wrappers to Grease Pans
Save Butter Wrappers to Grease Pans. What? Yes, I am serious. Today I am sharing a kitchen tip with you that I learned years ago as a home economics teacher. As you can imagine we went through a lot of butter in the food’s labs. My amazing co-worker who I loved with all my heart passed on this kitchen tip with me.
Simply save your butter wrappers! Don’t throw them away but instead place them in a freezer safe zip-loc bag and place them in the freezer. When you are ready to grease a pan simply pull one out and use it! It is the perfect tip because you will save money by using the wrapper instead of wax paper AND you will save ingredients because you would have thrown this wrapper away. It is a win/win. I hope you enjoy this kitchen tip as much as I do!
