How to Freeze Strawberries
How to freeze strawberries is so simple! Did you know you can? This is a great money saving tip. Buy them on sale and stock up for winter!
How to freeze strawberries:
All you need to do is wash them, slice them and put on a baking sheet. Make sure they are not touching each other, or they will freeze together. Place the baking sheet in the freezer for 30 minutes, this is called flash freezing. After 30 minutes pull the baking sheet out and place the frozen strawberries in a freezer safe container. I double bagged mine and then I place my strawberries in my deep freezer.
Next time strawberries are on sale be sure to stock up and freeze them for later use.
Frozen strawberries are perfect for smoothies, like Chocolate Strawberry Smoothie or Kiwi Strawberry Green Smoothie.
