Is Disney After Hours Boo Bash Worth It?
Is Disney After Hours Boo Bash Worth It? As you know I am a huge fan of after hours events at Disney. They are normally a great way to experience the parks unlike any other experience. If you are looking for a way to celebrate Halloween then you may want to consider Disney After Hours Boo Bash.
Is Disney After Hours Boo Bash Worth It?
Disney After Hours Boo Bash is taking place on select nights from August 10 through October 31, 2021. Ticket holders will be admitted to Magic Kingdom park as early as 7:00 PM on the valid date of their ticket, giving you even more time to enjoy park favorites before the event begins. These dated tickets do not require an additional day theme park ticket or Disney Park Pass theme park reservation.
These tickets are completely sold out at this time however Disney After Hours Boo Bash tickets ranged from $129 to $199 per adult or child (plus tax), depending on the event date.
Disney After Hours Boo Bash was unlike the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party which we all expected. It was a more scaled down version.
There is special Halloween décor, lighting and music to set the tone for a not-too-spooky good time. Some Disney Characters were in full Halloween dress and there was themed lighting that cast Cinderella Castle in a spectral glow. In addition to Halloween-themed music throughout the park it made for a fun themed night.
Here are the perks:
Avoid long wait time for rides. Enjoy shorter waits at over 20 Magic Kingdom attractions. Disney After Hours Boo Bash lets a limited number of guests experience the park for an additional 3 hours after it closes. That means less waiting in line at popular experiences like Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain!
Some of the Many Attractions Open During the Event:
- Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Jungle Cruise, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan’s Flight, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin and Space Mountain
Enjoy Character Sightings and catch a performance by the Cadaver Dans. Character Sightings will occur across the park, so be on the lookout! You could see:
- Goofy, Chip ‘n’ Dale, Miss Carlotta, Miss Renatta and Broome the Butler at the Haunted Mansion, Foulfellow and Gideon
And be sure to catch the Cadaver Dans as they make a special comeback (from the dead) appearance.
Enjoy Character Cavalcades. Get swept up in the Halloween spirit with captivating, themed cavalcades.
Jack’s Nightmare Cavalcade: Prepare for a procession worthy of the Pumpkin King! Jack Skellington—along with Sally and Oogie Boogie from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas—take to the streets to share thrilling, chilling tricks and treats!
Mickey’s Happy Halloween Cavalcade: Delight as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto and pals—dressed in hauntingly boo-tiful Halloween costumes—parade through the park in this musical procession.
Disney Villain Halloween Cavalcade: Behold a legion of villains unleashed to revel in this sinister season. Look out for fiends like Dr. Facilier, the Queen of Hearts and Jafar as they celebrate just how wonderful it is to be wicked.
And last (but definitely not least!), Maleficent will also make an appearance in the form of a fire-breathing dragon!
Snack and Sip on These Selections. Add to the fun when you chill out with select ice cream novelties and more. We enjoyed popcorn, bottled water, ice cream bars and more! This is included with the cost of the event and available at carts stationed throughout the park. In addition, you can purchase select menu items at several of the park’s dine-in locations.
Enjoy trick or treating throughout the park, featuring Mars Wrigley confectionery products, you’re sure to have a sweet night. Allergy-free options will also be available.
In addition, you can purchase select menu items at several of the park’s dine-in locations. Including two exclusive menu items. I enjoyed the funnel cake pictured above.
Apple Ginger Dale Frozen Drink: Frozen Apple Cider mixed with Ginger Ale, topped with Whipped Cream and chopped TWIX® Cookie Bars.
Foolish Mortal Funnel Cake: Funnel Cake topped with Oreo Crumbles, Purple Vanilla Ice Cream, Green Drizzle Icing and M&M’S® Milk Chocolate Candies Ghouls Mix.
I do think that the Disney After Hours Boo Bash was worth it. It really depends on what you are looking for. It was more low key than typical parties and there were no meet and greets. I did enjoy the cavalcades and the wait times were fantastic for the rides. Now I am looking forward to the upcoming Disney After Hours Christmas Party.
