How-To Peel a Hard Cooked Egg

How to peel a hard cooked egg without making a mess of your eggs!

I wanted to share with you some tips for How To Peel a Hard Cooked Egg.  Choosing older eggs is the best tip! After you hard cook the egg (see this post for how to hard cook an egg) let it sit in cold water for 10 minutes to stop the cooking process. Add ice and chill for 5 minutes. Gently tap on a hard surface (like your sink) and peel under cold running water or submerged in cold water. This is it! It really works and helps you from making a mess of your hard cooked eggs when you peel them.

Hope this kitchen tip helps!
