Homemade Hot Dog Chili
We love this homemade hot dog chili recipe. This is the perfect addition to any 4th of July party, BBQ or cookout during the summer.
My friend made this homemade hot dog chili for our 4th of July party, and I will never buy canned chili again. If you have never enjoyed a good chili dog, you are really missing out. I love a chili dog with pickle relish. When she told me that this is a family recipe that they always have at cookouts I asked her to make it for us.
I am so glad I did! This homemade hot dog chili was really flavorful, and I loved knowing that we are eating a homemade version instead of a canned version. This recipe is also naturally gluten free which meant that I could enjoy it.
I like that it didn’t have beans but if you prefer you can always add a can. It would be perfect to serve when you are hosting a party. A great method to make your hot dogs for a large group is by cooking them in the crockpot.
Be sure to give this yummy homemade hot dog chili a try. It is so much better than the store bought and really makes your BBQ special. It is easy to make and really flavorful. My Dad loved it! He is a huge fan of chili dogs so that is a huge compliment. He wanted to keep the leftover so he could enjoy it the next day. Just enjoy it on your hot dog and you will be happy you did.
