Today we are sharing with you a Heart Healthy Baking Tip. It is a simple exchange and really makes your baked goods moist! Simply substitute applesauce for your oil in your recipes. Use an equal substitute when baking.
This is great way to cut fats from your baked goods and produce a moist baked good! I always substitute the oil in baking. I keep a jar in my pantry at all times and these individual serving sizes work perfect too!

I do this all the time. Sometimes I keep 1/2 the oil and use 1/2 applesauce. Also if I can, I swap out a little bit of white flour for whole wheat flour.
