One of our favorite side dish recipes is grilled broccoli. It is an easy and very healthy way to cook it. Plus there is little clean up too.
Grilled Broccoli is also a great gluten free side dish. A tip that I learned from a friend is to add ice cubes to the foil pouch – it steams the broccoli while it cooks! However it tastes so much better than traditional steamed broccoli. It is not soggy and overcooked using this method. This recipe is also a Candida Friendly Recipe and a Keto Friendly Recipe too!
Grilled BroccoliPrint Recipe
- Olive Oil
- Ice Cubes
- Italian Seasoning
- Tear off a large piece of Aluminum foil.
- Place chunks of broccoli and onion on top of the foil.
- Sprinkle with olive oil and Italian seasoning.
- Add 2-3 ice cubes and seal the foil tightly.
- Grill on medium for 12 - 14 minutes.
This is a free food on my weight loss plans like Weight Watchers. I love to pile up my plate full and combine it with a nice protein and healthy grain. Be sure to give this easy recipe a try. We like to prepare it with some onions but you can do with our without based on what you enjoy.
