Free Hands-on Activities for Kids
Check out these Free Hands-on Activities for Kids. We love Lowe’s Build and Grow and Home Depot Kids Workshops. They are FREE and a fabulous frugal fun activity to do together. My son has been going since he was 3.
Free Hands-on Activities for Kids:
Most of the time he and my husband go and give me some Mommy time however since he started all day school this year, I have been joining them too. I am very impressed with the quality of the projects and helpful assistance of the employees. They greet us when we come in, know my son by name and often give him a sucker somewhere along the process.
They provide aprons and goggles (for the children to keep and wear each time), equipment as well as the supplies to build the project. After the project is complete, they give a patch at Lowe’s and a pin at Home Depot for the kids to add to their aprons. My son has been to so many Lowe’s workshops that he is on his 2nd apron 🙂
He decided to show off all 30 of his projects and aprons for you and then we placed them onto a shelf in his playroom. You do need to pre-register for the Lowe’s classes. The Home Depot workshops are the first Saturday of the month and you do not have to register.
